Claudia Salomon has begun her term as the first woman President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
On 1 July 2021, Claudia Salomon begun her term as President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. She was recommended for election as president in November last year (see

) and was formally elected on 11 June 2021. She is the first woman to become President of the ICC Court.
Claudia succeeds Alexis Mourre, who finished his term on 30 June 2021 after six years in the role (see

).
