The code of conduct sets out the minimum requirements regarding fair and safe labor and environmental practices that manufacturers, suppliers, and other vendors must meet to sell goods to or do business with the retailer. These policies are an important part of a retailer's commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) .
