The litigation section is the largest practice group at Ray Quinney & Nebeker and the largest litigation group in the State of Utah. It includes a number of the most respected trial lawyers in Utah. We handle all aspects of plaintiff and defendant work in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, and in commercial arbitration. The practice is diverse, covering commercial litigation, insurance (defense, coverage and bad faith), malpractice defense, product liability, real estate, employment relations, tax litigation and other areas. The majority of our practice is for the defense, although several attorneys also represent plaintiffs in noncommercial actions. We also have attorneys who specialize in handling appeals at all levels of state and federal practice. We not only assist with appeals when the Firm has handled the underlying matter, but also handle appeals and provide consultation for cases that have been handled by other lawyers. This provides the client with both significant expertise and fresh insights.
