PMSI Notice for Retail Consignors | Practical Law
A form letter that a retail seller (consignor) uses, when it places its retail goods on consignment with a buyer (consignee) for resale, to notify the consignee's creditors who have a security interest in the consignee's inventory that the consignor has a purchase-money security interest (PMSI) in the consigned goods. This form letter may be used either before or after a consignee files for bankruptcy. This Standard Document has integrated drafting notes with important explanations and drafting tips.
