The Flexible trials scheme (FTS) (previously a pilot under PD 51N) became permanent with effect from 1 October 2018 in the Business and Property courts nationwide under PD57AB. This Practice note considers the procedures which apply to cases in the FTS and highlights some differences between how things usually work under the CPR and how things operate under the scheme.
