The NYSE updated its Domestic Company Annual Written Affirmation to reflect the NYSE's new compensation committee independence requirements.
On January 16, 2014, the NYSE updated its Domestic Company Annual Written Affirmation to reflect the NYSE's new compensation committee independence requirements, which were mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act. The updated affirmation must be used by companies whose annual meeting occurs after January 15, 2014. Listed companies must submit the written affirmation to the NYSE annually within 30 days of their annual stockholders' meeting.
The affirmations can be submitted electronically through egovdirect.com.
