EPO publishes revised rules on fees | Practical Law

The European Patent Office (EPO) has published its revised Rules relating to fees, as adopted by the EPO's Administrative Council on 7 December 2006. The revised Rules will enter into force on the same date as the revised text of the European Patent Convention, which is due to take effect on 13 December 2007, or three months after the final state has ratified or acceded to it, if this earlier (see Legal update, Revised European Patent Convention to take effect by December 2007). The previous Rules, which will be repealed upon commencement of the revised Rules, will continue to apply to payments made before that date.
