Law stated as at 17 Jun 2008England, Scotland, Wales
The Determinations Panel exercises most of the Pensions Regulator's powers to intervene in the running of occupational pension schemes. The Panel has reviewed its determinations procedure document, which sets out the steps it will follow in making determinations and should be considered by any parties who become involved.
Minor changes to the procedure will be introduced from 28 July 2008, based on the Panel's experience since being established under the Pensions Act 2004. The procedure document will now reflect more accurately how determinations are made in practice.
