A letter of undertaking from a law firm acting for a security provider to hold the deeds to assets (often real estate) over which security has been granted. The law firm confirms that it has the deeds in its possession and undertakes to hold them to the lender's order, to hand them over promptly on demand, to keep them safe and not to create or exercise any lien over them.
