The Quebec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP) is a compulsory public insurance plan in the Province of Quebec. It provides a replacement income benefit during maternity leave, paternity leave, parental leave, or adoption leave. QPIP benefits are funded through employer and employee QPIP payroll premiums.
