A Checklist of the compensability of employee activities frequently involved in compensable time litigation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), including travel, meal periods and rest breaks, sleeping time, on-call shifts, and preliminary and postliminary activities such as donning and doffing. This Checklist is intended for private sector for-profit employers and is based on federal law. State and local law may impose different or additional requirements on compensable working time.
