It outlines the scope of each consumer guarantee and provides guidance on the rules about excluding, modifying or limiting liability for failure to comply with the consumer guarantees. It also covers enforcement, remedies, conflict of the ACL with other laws and a brief comparison with the regime of implied consumer warranties found in the former Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth).
