This standard document is a tenant's notice of claim to acquire the freehold or an extended lease under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (LRA 1967).

This standard document follows the prescribed wording for a tenant's notice of claim under the Leasehold Reform (Notices) Regulations 1997 (SI 1997/640) (as amended by the Leasehold Reform (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/1715), the Leasehold Reform (Notices) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002/3187) and the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (Consequential Provisions) (No 2) Order 2010 (SI 2010/671)).

The notice must be served in this form, or in substantially the same form, including the notes in the Annex. As this document has been drafted in the prescribed format no Firmstyle is available.
