Licence from the landlord to the tenant giving consent to assign a lease that is an old lease under the Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995.
The licence also permits the change the use of the property and the carrying out of minor works. It is assumed that planning permission is not needed for the works (although it may be for the change of use).
This Standard document includes a guarantee of the assignee's obligations.
