Fair Work Commission (FWC)
An independent body that operates as the national workplace relations tribunal established under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) (FW Act).
The FWC is empowered to undertake several functions in relation to specific subject matters including:
- Minimum wages.
- General protections.
- Unfair dismissal.
- Industrial action.
- Right of entry.
- Stand down.
- Prohibiting sexual harassment in connection with work.
- Workers bullied at work.
