Annual general meeting (AGM)

For the purposes of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the ASX Listing Rules, the general meeting of a public company's members required to be held annually.
Public companies must hold an annual general meeting within 18 months after their registration and at least once in each calendar year. The annual general meeting must be held within five months after the end of the company's financial year. For more information on general meetings, see Practice note, General Meetings.
