This note sets out the rules on the standards that goods sold by traders to consumers must meet and the consumers' remedies if they do not. It also sets out the rules on delivering products and a consumer's remedies if these are broken. This note reflects the law as it applies to consumer contracts for the sale or transfer of goods entered into on or after 1 October 2015.
