The firm's 27-attorney labor and employment law practice group draws on the combined resources of over 400 attorneys in offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Keeping abreast of current business and employment issues, including continual changes in statutes and regulations, the group's attorneys counsel clients and defend employers against litigation ranging from single-plaintiff cases to class actions challenging company-wide and nationwide policies.
The group has significant depth and experience in employment litigation of all types, including non-competition matters, wage and hour claims, employment discrimination suits, executive agreements and compensation, employment issues implicated by mergers and acquisitions, private and public sector labor relations, collective bargaining, interest and grievance arbitrations, and privacy concerns in the electronic workplace. The firm negotiates labor contracts, assists in their administration, and handles grievance and interest arbitrations.
