Remote and hybrid work arrangements have become increasingly commonplace, stemming in large part from the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the most recent statistics from the Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2021:
- 38.1 percent of employed people did some or all of their work at home.
- 59.8 percent of those with a Bachelor's degree or higher performed some work at home.
