Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS Act)

Signed into law by President Obama on April 5, 2012, the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (JOBS Act) is legislation intended to expand and ease methods of capital raising by, and relax the regulatory burden on, smaller companies. The JOBS Act made wide-ranging changes to the federal securities laws and rules governing the US capital formation process.
