On 21 May 2010, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that it has closed its investigation into Google Inc's (Google) proposed acquisition of mobile advertising network company AdMob, concluding that the proposed transaction was unlikely to harm competition in the emerging market for mobile advertising networks.
