The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has announced the appointment of India Johnson as the new President and CEO, with effect from 1 January 2013. In the interim period, she will be the Acting Executive Vice President.

India Johnson is a graduate of the University of Miami and holds an MBA from Georgia State University. She is currently based in Atlanta, overseeing the commercial and construction divisions, as well as marketing and strategy, but will be relocating to New York. She will replace William Slate, who has held that position since 1994.
