In PT First Media TBK (formerly known as PT Broadband Multimedia TBK) v Astro Nusantara International BV and others and another appeal [2013] SGCA 57, the Singapore Court of Appeal has given its much-anticipated decision in the Astro v Lippo dispute regarding an award debtor’s right to challenge the award at the enforcement stage, where they had not challenged earlier in the proceedings. The court also ruled on the tribunal’s decision to join non-signatories to the arbitration.
