Green Bleaching

A corollary of greenhushing, this refers to the decision by some financial market participants or providers of investment services or products to not claim or to underplay the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) or sustainability features of their products to avoid accusations of greenwashing and scrutiny and potential regulatory and legal action from regulators and stakeholders.
