Notice to the Bar

A notice to licensed attorneys in New Jersey, typically from:
  • The Administrative Director of the Courts, often attaching an order from the New Jersey Supreme Court that generally:
  • The Assignment Judge of a Superior Court vicinage (a trial court district consisting of one or more counties), highlighting a new practice or procedure.
Although less common, Notices to the Bar can also be issued by:
  • The Clerk of the Supreme Court.
  • The Director of the New Jersey Lawyers' Fund for Client Protection.
  • The Chief Counsel of the New Jersey Disciplinary Board.
