A Practice Note describing federal executive agencies' accommodation obligations under the Rehabilitation Act (Rehab Act) and Executive Order 13164. This Note addresses federal law regarding agencies' duties to engage in the interactive process and provide reasonable accommodation to a qualified individual with a disability, absent undue hardship. This Note applies to federal employees of and applicants to federal executive branch agencies.
