This practice note considers the requirement on employers to consult with their employees before making certain changes ("listed changes") to their pension schemes. The requirement covers prescribed changes that are set out in the Occupational and Personal Pension Schemes (Consultation by Employers and Miscellaneous Amendment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/349). The note also considers the process employers must follow and the consequences of failing to comply with the requirements.
