China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)
Also known as the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC).
The CCPIT includes enterprises and organisations that represent economics and trade in China. The aims of the CCPIT include:
Promoting foreign trade.
Carrying out Sino-foreign economic and technological co-operation activities.
Promoting economic and trade relations between China and other countries worldwide.
The CCPIT has a semi-governmental status in China and includes the
China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission
(CIETAC) under its auspices.
