Ex Parte Patent Reexamination

A US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) proceeding requested by a patent owner or a third party to reevaluate the patentability of a patent's claims (35 U.S.C. § 302; 37 C.F.R. § 1.510(a); MPEP § 2211). The USPTO orders ex parte reexamination when:
