A Practice Note discussing cybersquatting claims under the federal Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act (ACPA). It addresses the claim elements, relevant considerations when analyzing a domain name owner's bad faith and other claim elements, and the injunctive and monetary relief available. This Note also addresses reverse domain name hijacking claims and use of the ACPA to challenge administrative decisions under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
