This Legal Update reports on significant changes to the local rules and procedures for all US federal district and appellate courts between September 11 and 17, 2013. It also reports on changes to the individual practice rules for judges in select district courts during this time period.

Federal Circuit Court of Appeals
The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit announced that, effective Monday, September 16, 2013, the court will implement a system to permit electronic payment of court fees through the CM/ECF system.
