The European Patent Office (EPO) has published a special edition of the EPO Official Journal setting out the various new legislation which will become applicable when the revised European Patent Convention (EPC 2000) comes into force on 13 December 2007 (see Legal update, Revised European Patent Convention to take effect by December 2007). The new texts set out in the Official Journal are: the EPC 2000; the revised and renumbered Implementing Regulations to the EPC 2000 (see Legal update, EPO publishes EPC 2000 Implementing Regulations); the revised Rules relating to Fees (see Legal update, EPO publishes revised rules on fees); and transitional provisions.
