A note outlining some key issues under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) (as amended), the retained EU law version of the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 that organisations should consider before placing cookies on computers, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs or other devices.
