A sample joint defense and confidentiality agreement (JDA), which allows parties with common legal interests related to pending or anticipated New York civil litigation to share information without waiving the attorney-client privilege, trial preparation privilege, work product protection, or other applicable privileges or protections. This agreement may also protect against the disqualification of one party's counsel resulting from having received other parties' privileged or protected information under this agreement.
