A CFTC-registered entity that collects and in some cases publicly disseminates data relating to swaps (non-security-based swaps) under final CFTC rules enacted pursuant to Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act. There are also security-based swap data repositories (SBSDRs) registered with the SEC for the collection of security-based swap (SBS) data under Dodd-Frank Title VII swaps rules for SBS.
