Further to the European Commission's publication of its proposals for reform of the Brussels Regulation, and the Ministry of Justice's public consultation launched in December of last year (Revision of the Brussels I Regulation - How should the UK approach the negotiations), the UK government has decided to opt in to the revised Brussels Regulation and to participate in negotiations.
