eCourts

The web-based application that allows New Jersey attorneys to electronically file (e-file) and view documents. Counsel e-file using:
  • eCourts Supreme in the New Jersey Supreme Court.
  • eCourts Appellate in the Superior Court, Appellate Division.
  • eCourts Civil in the Superior Court:
    • Law Division, Civil Part (including in the Complex Business Litigation Program (CBLP)) and in the Special Civil Part (except in the Small Claims Section); and
    • Chancery Division, General Equity Part (in foreclosure actions only).
  • eCourts Criminal for the Superior Court, Law Division, Criminal Part.
  • eCourts Tax for the Tax Court.
Counsel e-file using the Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) system in courts where eCourts is unavailable, such as in non-foreclosure General Equity Part actions (see E-Filing: Judiciary Electronic Document Submission (JEDS) System Checklist (NJ)).
