A Practice Note providing an outline of the general steps and procedures involved in evicting a tenant or another occupant from either a residential or a commercial property through an action for forcible detainer or an action for forcible entry and detainer under the Texas Property Code. This Note also discusses the post-eviction rights and remedies of the landlord and the tenant.
