A Practice Note tracking information on various programs and guidance adopted by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) (including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), and individual states to assist residential mortgage borrowers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This Note also summarizes programs from select private lenders to assist residential mortgage borrowers during the COVID-19 outbreak. These programs include foreclosure suspensions, forbearance, and other payment relief programs. This Tracker is current as of December 14, 2021 and is no longer being updated.
