Court grants declaration that court appointed arbitrator lacks jurisdiction over foreign court claims (English Commercial Court) | Practical Law

In National Investment Bank Ltd v Eland International (Thailand) Co Ltd and another [2022] EWHC 1168 (Comm), the English Commercial Court granted an application under section 72 of the Arbitration Act 1996 for a declaration that an arbitrator appointed by the court under section 18 of that legislation did not have jurisdiction in respect of claims already advanced in court proceedings in Ghana.
