COVID-19: Government announces that the current restrictions on winding up petitions that expire on 30 September 2021 will be replaced with more limited restrictions until 31 March 2022 | Practical Law

The government has announced that the current restrictions on statutory demands and winding up petitions under the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 that expire on 30 September 2021 will not be extended, but will be replaced with new, more limited restrictions from 1 October 2021 until 31 March 2022. The restrictions in respect of commercial rent arrears will continue until 31 March 2022.
