Due Diligence Clause in a Commercial Real Estate Purchase Agreement | Practical Law
A due diligence investigation clause providing a purchaser with the right to perform due diligence investigations on the property after it has executed the purchase and sale agreement, including title searches and physical investigations on the property. After the investigations, the purchaser may terminate the agreement in its sole discretion on or before a specified date. This due diligence clause is also known as a "free-look" clause.
