State-owned land use rights certificate (land certificate) (国有土地使用权证)

State-owned land use rights certificate is the conclusive and official proof of state-owned land use rights by the land user. The format of the certificate is prescribed by the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) and used uniformly across the country. This certificate is issued by the local counterparts of the MNR with the following particulars:
  • The certificate number.
  • Name of the land use right holder.
  • Location of the land parcel.
  • Number of the land parcel.
  • Type of the land usage (for example, residential or complex usage).
  • Type of the land use rights (for example, granted land use rights or allocated land use rights).
  • The expiry date of the land use rights.
  • The area of the land parcel.
  • Remarks (for example, whether there is any mortgage or third-party rights attached to the land parcel).
