Cobbe v Yeomans Row Management Ltd, 25 February 2005, (High Court).
The High Court has awarded a developer a half share of the increase in value of a property attributable to planning permission having been granted. The developer had spent a considerable sum obtaining planning permission to redevelop the property, relying on an oral agreement that the owner would sell it to the developer once planning permission had been obtained.
