In Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust v Bagley UKEAT/0417/11 the EAT overturned a finding that an employer had failed to make reasonable adjustments for a disabled employee. Had there been such a failure, the EAT would have subtantially reduced the damages award.
