A Practice Note discussing the legal framework and practice standards for performing a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment. This Note reviews the requirements for performance of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment in accordance with the new ASTM E1527-21 Phase I standard and addresses key changes from the previous ASTM E1527-13.
