FW Act: The statutory requirements for fixed term contracts | Practical Law
This note provides guidance on the statutory requirements imposed on national system employers in respect of the use of fixed term employment contracts (including both true fixed term contracts as well as maximum term or outer time limit contracts) introduced by the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Secure Jobs, Better Pay) Act 2022 (Cth) and contained in Division 5, Part 2-9 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). The statutory requirements commenced operation on 6 December 2023.
