Disclosure document

For the purposes of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (CA 2001), a document required to be issued by a public company wanting to offer securities for sale. This includes any of the following:
  • Short form prospectus.
  • Simple corporate bond prospectus.
  • Profile statement.
  • Offer information statement.
The preparation and issue of disclosure documents is regulated by Chapter 6 of the CA 2001. ASIC also has guidance on the contents of disclosure documents.
