The Delaware Division of Corporations announced that, effective December 1, 2015, all UCC filings are required to be submitted electronically.
The Delaware Department of State Division of Corporations (Division) announced the modification of acceptable methods of communication authorized by the filing office for Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings. Effective December 1, 2015, the Division will require that all UCC filings be submitted to the Division electronically. The filing office will no longer accept any paper UCC filings submitted directly via mail, courier, or fax.
Paper UCC filings may still be submitted through UCC Authorized Filers (a list of service companies approved by the Division) who will submit the filing electronically to the Division.
