This Note provides an overview of the disclosure obligations generally applicable to reporting issuers (public companies) and includes a description of the types of disclosure documents that reporting issuers are required to prepare and file under applicable securities laws in Canada. It also provides additional information about certain disclosure requirements that have been streamlined and otherwise tailored in recent years to reflect the needs and circumstances applicable to venture issuers.
